Philip Cefai

Philip is an experienced UK-based operator, with a track record of over 25 years in consumer durables, ceramics, and the trade / DIY paints sector in the UK.

He has gained expertise building and leading both private-equity backed businesses and corporates, ranging from £35–215m revenue. He spent the last 13 years of his career at Crown Paints, stepping-up to the Managing Director role in 2018.

In November 2025, Philip and AIA acquired H. Mears (Furnishers) Ltd. – a highly regarded supplier in the carpet and flooring sector in the Northwest of the UK, owned and operated by the same family since 1802.
